Back to School Lists
September always recalls back to school with nostalgia and angst. Even If you are a good student, fair or ho hum, school is difficult. Seeing parents and students with list in hand, pawing through all the bins and shelves made me think of all the lists that are in the Bible. Perhaps, we need to make our own lists of people who will impact our student’s lives in the coming year. It really is amazing how many individuals a child meets in one day. This is a suggested group who need our prayers.
- TEACHERS
- Bus Driver/carpool person
- Children at the bus stop
- School secretary/ Nurse/ Administrator/Security Guard
- Aide/Sub/ etc.
- Music/PE/ Computer/ Art/Librarian /Coaches /Counselors
- Friends
- Bully- there is always an unfortunate child
- Lunchroom personnel
- Principal all Office People
Add you own. Please, take time to pray also for anyone who is making your life miserable. You may be the only one. Hopefully, there are those who makes the day better. Thank God and praise Him for having them in your life. Teaching our children to be honest when they pray for challenges in their lives teaches them dependence on Jesus. Teaching them to be thankful keeps them mindful of His mercy and grace.
Please share your list with anyone who is concerned about your child – grandparents, great grands, friends. We may all pray for them, for their safety and their ability to handle the challenges of life.
God bless them all.
