Role Models
Growing up, we all had a role model we looked up to, whether it was Michael Jordan, Peyton Manning or another public figure. But, have you ever thought to look to the Bible for a role model?
One person from the Bible we can try to be more like is Daniel. Daniel was a person that put his faith in the Lord. King Darius put a law into effect that no one could worship anyone but him. Daniel went against that law and prayed to God. And, he got thrown into the lion’s den for it. Daniel had faith that God would keep him safe. God sent an angel to shut the lion’s mouth and keep Daniel safe.
So, what can we learn from Daniel? No matter our hardships in life, we still need to go to God. We need to have faith that he will lead us through.
God kept Daniel safe from the lions for the faith that he had in Him. Just imagine what could happen if we put our faith in God!
